We write to Governor Newsom regarding implementation of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and upcoming implementation efforts for the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). With the pending change in leadership at the California Attorney General’s office, the time is right to open up an inclusive new process for the general public to engage actively on the best ways to devise industry-facing regulations for these two important data privacy laws.
